Bluesky integration for social inbox, icon for social follow block

Hi everyone. After speaking with our Product team, updates are coming to the Social Follow block to add additional social channels to it, including Bluesky. There isn't an ETA for when the updates will be released but we'll share information once we hear more.

Thank you for your interest in adding the icon. We're still tracking feedback, but keeping our developers in the loop that we're seeing a lot of interest in adding this icon to the social blocks. In the meantime, there is a workaround you can do that we cover in our new post on the subject.

This should not be a big engineering lift so not sure why you can't commit to it. The workaround is a bit kludgy. Please add BlueSky and Threads to Social Share options

Yes, please add Bluesky. In our industry (clinical research), more and more researchers and scientific organizations are joining Bluesky every week. There is definite momentum and it continues to pick up.

Seeking a Bluesky logo in the social media block. 

The workaround to recreate the social media block using images and a navigation block is really rough. The spacing of a navigation block is hard to make consistent, there is a max of 5 items, and on mobile each image drops to a new line. 

If you don't want to deal with adding new social media icons as platforms gain and lose popularity, you could alternatively allow a custom icon to be added, or expand design control in the editor.
