Bulk delete sections in a layout

I would love to be able to select multiple sections of a layout to delete them all at once. For example, delete a text box, multiple photos, and buttons by grouping them and then deleting all of them with one click of a button.

This can already be done by hovering over a row, selecting the gear icon, then selecting the trash icon. This will delete entire rows, which can include multiple columns and block types:
