Create dropdown fields for sign up forms

I need to know the industry that my subscribers are from. In the profile update they provide that information in an un standardized way. Can there be a drop down list so I have consistent values in that field and can sort on it. otherwise, there a lot of different names for the same industry. Ii run webinars and Go to Webinar has a dropdown list for industry so all of the lists I upload from webinar registrations (they opt into the list) has standard industry responses. This is extremely critical. I can't ask my subscribers to update their industry or it will corrupt the CC data base for that field.

This would be EXTREMELY HELPFUL! We are wanting to get rid of our forms tool to replace it with constant contact forms but they are too limited. We would like to see choice field options (radio buttons, check boxes, dropdown), as well as a file upload option, a yes/no choice option for things like agreements, waivers, etc.

Really? No dropdown option or checkboxes in form creation? Kind of basic and expected functionality. Any timeline on getting this included into the Constant Contact platform?

I agree. It would be great to be able to add drop box fields on a sign up form that will add tags to the contact to ensure they get sorted to the appropriate segment.

I’m writing to express my frustration over the ongoing absence of a dropdown menu feature in the form builder, which has been requested since 2016. I can't believe that after so many years of customer feedback, this basic functionality is still missing as of 2024. I don’t think anyone would ignore customer reviews and requests for something this fundamental for so long.

Effective customer service means addressing even basic needs, regardless of the number of requests. Ignoring such a fundamental feature, especially when it’s critical for segmentation and data collection, reflects poorly on your commitment to customer satisfaction.

With the recent price increase, it’s hard to justify paying more when such an essential feature is still not available. I urge you to prioritize adding this feature to demonstrate your commitment to both improving the platform and meeting customer needs.

A drop down feature is essential to a sign up form. I'm finding that I'm having to use different softwares to do something that CC should be able to do. I see that this has been an issue since 2016. It would be nice for your long-time, dedicated users to be heard and for some action to be taken.
