Editing options for the landing page description

why can't we use hard-returns in the Description field?! It's (up to) 600 characters all jammed into 1 'paragraph'. I have some real stuff to explain to people after they've signed up, including a link, and it's quite tacky all slammed together. I love #CC, but this is not cool. Please somehow transfer the hard-returns typed into the Description field in the final product. Thx.

Status changed to: Acknowledged

We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current position with our engineering team and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this request for providing additional editing options on the Lead Generation Landing Page but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

We need a way to format text or at least create paragraphs in the Lead Generation Pages. It looks so horrible to have to write information about the sign up in one giant paragraph.

Hi,

Separating large amounts of text into paragraphs is not a feature. It's essential for readability. I really don't see why it's considered a nice to have.

You have the same problem in the forum: the initial email doesn't support paragraph breaks (although some people managed to make it work, not sure how). However, in the responses, you have access to a rich-text editor. So responses are easier to read than the initial request.

Everything I've read about writing content for the web starts with this: use short paragraphs and leave a lot of whitespace.

The current setup breaks that fundamental rule.

I was trying to add my link to my calendar on the sign up page I created but there's no option for that. I think it would be a good idea to add that button option so clients can go straight to that for a quote they're wanting to get.
