Landing pages with video

Hello, it seems like it should be fairly simple to have a landing page with a video embedded. I would like my leads to see a quick video and then give their contact information.

What are some cases where you would want someone to view a video before entering their contact information? How would you expect the video to display?

It's pretty straightforward. You view a short clip that resonates with you. Then a call to action, sign up if you want to know more.
