I ended up lying about the reason for my call to the chat person so I could try to get my email out in time. He was able to help me.
I called two different numbers:
1-866-433-8499
1-866-289-2101
Both went to a representative whose voice mailbox was full.

We are not able to replicate this experience with our phone support and we will be closing this post for further commenting.
