Hi thanks.  When I do this (set it at 200 px) , the image then looks fuzzy on desktop.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi, @EstelleJ6

Welcome to the community. We're thrilled to have you here. 🙂

If your image appears fuzzy on desktop after setting it to 200 pixels for optimal mobile viewing, the issue may be related to the resolution of the image. When you resize an image to a smaller dimension, it may lose clarity and appear fuzzy if the original resolution is not high enough.

Here are a few suggestions to address this issue:
  1. Start with a High-Resolution Image: Begin with an image that has a high resolution. This provides more detail and clarity, even when the image is resized for smaller screens.
  2. Maintain Aspect Ratio: When resizing an image, make sure to maintain the aspect ratio (the proportional relationship between the width and height). This prevents distortion and ensures the image looks good on both desktop and mobile.
  3. Check Compression Settings: If you're exporting or saving the image after resizing, ensure that the compression settings are not too aggressive. High compression can lead to a loss of image quality.
  4. Test Different Resolutions: Experiment with different resolutions for mobile viewing until you find a balance between file size and image quality that works well for both desktop and mobile devices.
