Social media short form video

I saw an article from 12/20/24 about including a short-form video in a social post, however when I spoke with a representative, they said it wasn't a thing anymore...? Confused to say the least. Hi @user38012 ,

 

At this time, the capability is in a closed beta, as our devs continue to collect data and fine-tune it for a fuller release. At the time of this comment, there are plans to roll it out more broadly throughout the next quarter, but that is subject to change.

Thank you for your input. Makes me feel a bit better about this. We are currently using Hootsuite but would like to consolidate some platforms.

As @William_A said, the feature is in a closed beta right now. If you're interested, we could add you to the closed beta to get early access.

 

Signing up for the beta entails filling out a short survey after using the feature, and participating in a paid interview session to talk about your experience using the feature. I can share more details if you're interested!

Let me talk to my Director of Marketing. She will probably be on board with this, especially if we have the ability to use the features, such as adding a .MP4 to our social posts instead of static images every time. I will get back to you on this tomorrow hopefully. Thank you!

Awesome! We have enabled the feature for your account @user38012. When you create a social post now, you should see an option to add a video. Let me know if you don't see that option.

 

You're getting early access to the feature, so there's no time limit or any other restrictions. You will be able to use it as much as you want. As part of the beta, the only thing you need to do is fill out this survey after using the feature for the first time. We may invite you to a follow-up paid interview session to talk about your experience of using the feature.

 

Feel free to continue sharing feedback through the survey if and when you have something to share.

Thank you, I just logged in and I know see the feature that I needed "video" Can you tell me when this will no longer be available to me? Will I have access this for at least a month or more?

The feature will remain available to you indefinitely @user38012. It's not time-limited.

Awesome, thank you! Right now, with video, you cannot schedule for later, which normally for my company, I schedule a few weeks in advance. Hopefully this will be something that will be fixed. For now, I am truly grateful to be able to use the beta! I will keep notes of any other things I run into, hopefully not many.
