And hilariously, all of the people that have been asking for the feature for years are updated via email within minutes (not once a day) when someone makes a comment on this thread. I am thankful for that feature, as it reminds me to set some time aside to look for a new email marketing provider.

Also it's pretty hilarious, as KentL75 said, that we get notified by email "when someone replies" on these comments. Constant Contact keeps me more aware of complaints about the lack of this feature than when my business clients signing up for my lists. By the way, the once a day email doesn't tell me WHICH LISTS the email signed up for. Not very helpful at all.

This has gotten to the point where I'm looking for a new email service. It seems that with each "upgrade" we lose functionality that we've had for years and their competitors offer. Half a decade of getting forum updates about other people as frustrated as I am makes it clear that our priorities are not shared by Constant Contact.

We would really love to see this simple feature: an email notification when someone completes a form or sign up that contains the user and landing page info. As it is now, I don't recommend to my clients use Constant Contact for any kind of forms or list sign ups because they will have to manually check each individual landing page to discover new sign ups. In some cases my clients have many landing pages meaning multiple checking each of these manually and reporting new sign ups. It's really a PITA. If they don't do this religiously they will miss sign ups and potentially miss the opportunity to reach the client as many of these forms are "We will call you ASAP" kind of forms which require quick responses. My clients want to know immediately that someone sent a request so they can reach out to that person personally or send a welcome email. We've resorted to using other tools to create our contact forms and email sign up lists and then manually uploading those contacts into Constant Contact. This is a time consuming and error-prone way to do it. Without the option of actually knowing when people submit forms and signup for contact lists we are stuck using two systems and Constant Contact's form system has no little to no value. After four years of people asking for this feature it reflects poorly that Constant Contact hasn't added this email notification feature or at least explained why they won't.

I'm a new customer and am also surprised that this still isn't possible after several years of customer's asking for it. These are two features that we need: 1. Instant email notification that someone signed up for a specific list. Learning that someone signed up at the end of the day isn't sufficient for our business. 2. We need information about which users signed up for which lists in all report emails. We're using the tools that Constant Contact provides to create multiple sign up lists for different purposes. Combining all those different lists' sign ups into one email is not helpful unless it shows who signed up for what. This is a great opportunity to save your clients time and increase your reputation. As it is now it's hard for me to recommend this service.
