I'd like to create an event that spans 2 days with times frames 8am-4pm for each day, but I don't see any way to do that. The system just sees this as a continuous 2 day event from 8am the first day through 4pm the second day.
Hello @PatriciaB0712,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the best way to make this happen is to create two events for each day and timeframe.
Hello,
I'm also trying to do this. We are hosting a webinar with two sessions on consecutive days and would like people to be able to sign up once but be registered for both, and be able to add both to their calendars.
I've seen this type of request made in help forums back to 2013. Is there any solution beyond creating two events? This adds quite a bit of friction for registering that we'd like to eliminate.
Thank you,
Lauren
The newer event system is still in development, so at this time there is no update to this functionality.
Hi. I am wondering if there has been any update to this question? We are hosting a workshop that will run 2 consecutive days, but only from 12-4 pm each day. Currently, it shows up as a continuous event from noon on one day until 4 pm the following day. I would obviously prefer not to have to create 2 separate events and have 2 separate registrations. Thanks!
Hello @VeronicaH924 ,
The newer event system is still in development, so at this time there is no update to this functionality. At this time, if you want to have separate sessions, days, times, etc. - they'd need to be either setup as separate items / tickets they can claim, or as wholly separate events. If going with the separate tickets/items route, the event would still be a singular setup, for example Start: August 3, 2023 10:00 AM and End: August 5, 2023 5:00 PM.
