test email with a lead generation landing page

Does anyone know if the lead gen landing page submit button works in the test email you send out prior to sending your main email? We have tried and the button is not working ....should the button  be full colour and work in the test email.

Hello @IanR077 ,

 

No, a landing page's link is accessed through an email's preview or test formats will not be a live link. Only emails that have been truly sent out will have the proper links for the live versions of the pages.
