From time to time I export sign ups or members from another platform (Intercom) into Constant Contact. I also receive some UNSUBSCRIBES from Constant Contact. I delete these from my CC list.
My question is… periodically I export fresh data from Intercom into CC to refresh and update my CC contact lists. If I have already deleted an unsubscribe from my CC list and then inadvertently import the same user back into CC are they automatically re-added, therefore overriding my deletion?
I am trying to save myself the trouble of deleting in 2 separate platforms, but this may be what I need to do. Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. It's my pleasure to assist you today.
That's a great question. Constant Contact will remember any unsubscribes that have occurred through our system and won't allow them to be imported back to the list. I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out should you need anything else.
Thank you for choosing Constant Contact. Have a great day!
