Alter the link text in the share post to exclude 'web-extract'

Steps to recreate:

1. go to email campaign that has launched

2. select Social Promotions from bottom of the page.

3. create a social media post 

What appears as the domain is "web-extract..... etc." It would be nice if this displayed the company name or website. (I have a CC website, if that is helpful to know)

I hate that when I post to facebook the link says myemail.constantcontact - it looks so unprofessional for a surgeon. Please remove that!!

With the update to our Social tool, the URL for a shared post includes myemail.constantcontact.com.

Has this been fixed yet? I won't use the share to socials if the web extract info appears. Unprofessional. Will look for another email platform that shares without displaying this.

Hey @user37059 – thanks for speaking up; we're listening! We get that the myemail.constantcontact.com domain in shared links isn't always perfect, especially when a sleek, professional look is crucial for your brand.

As a workaround, you might try using a URL shortener like Bitly to customize and brand your links before sharing them to social. That way, you can still drive traffic to your email content without displaying the domain in the post preview.
