Copy access turned off for legacy survey

Hi there,

Just giving some feedback on the new survey feature and removal of the previous legacy survey experience.

Unfortunately at this early stage we are finding it hard to navigate. We are disappointed that there appears to be no 'copy' of previous surveys so all surveys created before August 2021 now seem to be needed to be remade from scratch again.

This will take a lot longer time than previous.

Wondering if there is a way to copy old surveys so these important templates are not lost forever.

Hi @LucyM82 thank you for sharing this feedback with us! At this time we do ask that users recreate their surveys in our updated Survey campaigns. What about this updated version do you find hard to navigate? We have opened up your idea so other users can weigh in as well.

This is most unfortunate. We have been a member since 2014 and these changes are super annoying as we have now lost IP.
Losing the ability to duplicate or re-use previous surveys will cause us hours upon hours of recreating these costing us time and also costing our clients that pay us to manage and evaluate their programs time.

So far, things our team have found hard to navigate include where or how you can click on the feature which enables 'Allow multiple responses from the same computer?'
And also how you can put an automatic time to open and close the survey?

I really hope and encourage you to press and reinstate this now lost feature with management because I am sure other users are finding this a real problem and it has now weighed up the question of whether we just go to another platform given we have to start again anyway.

It's bad enough that the new surveys are essentially worthless, but now there is this: Please note that you are no longer able to create new Legacy Surveys. Later in 2021, access to edit/publish Legacy Surveys will be removed, and published Legacy Surveys will be deactivated. 

It seems like CC is doubling down on the new survey instead of trying to compromise and re-instate some of the basic features legacy surveys had. We have no choice but to move on to another platform. Very disappointing.

Would be very helpful to be able to view the old surveys so they can be copied into the new format

With the introduction of Survey Pages at the end of 2021, the legacy survey tool was discontinued along with the ability to copy the surveys. Going forward, all surveys must be created as Survey Pages. If there is a feature you wish to see, please post a new comment with your specific feedback so it can be properly tracked.
