Embed A Form Within An Email

Would be great to be able to embed a simple form within an email so no clicks redirecting to another page (web or landing).

Is there an appeal that can be made here? Seems like there are quite a few of us with this need.

This is something I revisit year after year when our company conducts our annual customer feedback survey, and every year I am surprised that this feature still does not exist. There needs to be a way to embed a survey directly in the body of an email (not linking it as a button, resulting in yet another click for the user). Please!

Status changed to: Acknowledged

Hello everyone,

A new service request specifically for embedding survey pages into emails was created, so we'll be updating the status of this thread to Acknowledged again. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback, and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

If you are interested in this idea, please make sure you're voting for the original comment (always at the top of the thread, regardless of page) by clicking the kudos / thumbs up button, as well as commenting with a use case if you have one to share.

Having to create an email and then provide a link to a survey page is clunky and does not entice or make it easy for the email reader to complete the survey.

Thank you for the update and I agree with all comments above, there is a real need to embed - especially a very short - survey directly in body of the email. It would be an extension of what is currently called the "Feedback" feature, which at first glance only allows answers to be a smiley face or a frowning face or "meh" - so we could list 3 short options, including "Other - please fill in" (which is key for some surveys) and so the results would continuously populate / continuously be updated into a page we could access as the owner/ publisher.

For an imbedded survey, at minimum, the use of a 1 - 5 Likert scale radio button option would be a great place to start. Then a multi choice option.

Hello everybody on this thread - be sure to click "Like" on the original comment at the top of this thread (visible on every page of the thread) - I just noticed the 14 January 2025 post by a site Admin https://community.constantcontact.com/t5/Product-Ideas/Embed-A-Form-Within-An-Email/idc-p/430354/hig... that says we should do this if we agree with the original comment - I guess they measure how many "likes" on the original comment to see how much interest there is among users.
