Hi, I wish to know if it is possible to share a campaign template with someone? Thank you.

Hi @AnneL95

Thank you for sharing your feedback here in the Community. I can understand how helpful it would be to share your campaigns with another account in our system. At this time this is only available through manually recreating your campaign, or our Campaign Copy service previously mentioned in this thread. You are however correct, this service does come at a one-time charge. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I have also submitted this feedback to our Product Team in the meantime.

Hello @ClaraB510,

That's a great question! For privacy reasons, there isn't actually a way for you to move a campaign into another account, without recreating it manually. However, we do have a service where our design team can recreate that for you, which currently costs $49. Alternatively, you can save your campaign as a PDF and they can link that in their own email campaign!

If you have additional questions about any of these options, please let us know.

I need this service and was looking through old message boards trying to find a solution. I see questions raised about this functionality since 2011; I can't believe you haven't come up with a solution yet! We have a subsidiary with their own Constant Contact account, and we want to be able to share campaigns across those accounts and send them out to different lists. Seems like it should be simple. Now I'll have to find time to re-create their email. Time I'd much rather spend on my other duties! Also, we're a non-profit. We're not going to pay $50 for one email.

has this functionality, as well as the ability to export the html from the email. Sorry but your development and service team are falling behind the times. These are important functions to be able to share designs and templates easily.

Hi Martyn, I am a member of the team overseeing our email editors here at Constant Contact and was glad you reached out about this! We have been exploring new features that allow multiple avenues to share content across accounts.  We noticed you are using our custom code editor which allows you to copy HTML directly from there and share it as needed.  We have a new custom code editor we are rolling out that provides even more functionality, including a live preview, recommendations for optimizing code, and more directly from the advanced editor, and soon this will be available to everyone.  I would love to know more about what features you are looking for in regards to sharing campaign templates.  Would you mind either elaborating here, or joining a call to discuss this further? Thank you! Nichole McDonald, Senior Product Owner

This is especially true — when competitors, have had this for years as one of their key features for creators. It's 2020, people have LITERALLY been asking for this since 2011.

Thank you for your feedback! We do listen to our customers concerns and we can understand how helpful it would be to share your campaigns with another account in our system. Is the capability to share templates now available? I see this answer is from 2020? Please advise.

Campaigns can be shared from parent partner accounts to child accounts, or via the Campaign Copy service.

I would also like to know how to do this. I was under the impression it was possible to share templates and campaigns with other accounts which you actively manage as part of the partner program. One reason I made some accounts managed. If so, how do I do it?

Hi @EpiscopalRI

You are correct, Business Partners do have access to our Partner Portal where you can manage these different accounts. If you are looking for help with moving templates through this portal, please contact our Partner Specialists directly. These support agents can further assist and answer any other questions you may have.

Solution to this!

Move to  . They let you create an email campaign and then send it to another user. That other user can edit and then send out the campaign from their account. Great solution if your designer wants to setup the basic form, and have you fill in the info.

How does this work? Move to what?

"for privacy reasons..." What a joke! Please don't provide lame excuses if you don't have any. Your customers tend to be minimally smart people...

The responses from Constant Contact are useless.  I am in a 46 location franchise and the franchisor sends a campaign to their email database.   I am looking to change contact info and url's for my list.   No solution?   Really?

Hi @LarryG813. If your business is part of a larger organization, you may want to suggest having them join our Franchise program. While we cannot reach out to them on behalf of your account, you can read up on this program and the franchisor can discuss with our Partner team what options are available for the business. There is a link on that page for the franchisor to request more information.

I am a sole business owner.  I send several template newsletters out, rotating between 3.

If I update information in one of the templates, I have not found a way to copy and paste part of a temple into another template.  Today, I recreate the material for the second template to be sent out.  This is incredibly frustrating

Is there a solution beside recreating information for a second template?
