Hello @danm348 , Unique email addresses are what denote unique contacts for reporting, billing, etc. For the sake of anti-spam compliance, billing, and contact management, if a single person has multiple email addresses you're sending to, then they are considered separate, unique contacts. As far as searching up contacts by their nicknames, that's entirely dependent on the data entered for the contact. "Mike" may be shorthand for "Michael," but it wouldn't be feasible to account for every potential nickname and shorthand version of names. Therefore, searches can only be for the parameters set- e.g. "Michael" or "Mike" explicitly being set for the first name field, or "Michael" for the first name and "Mike" as a custom field you create for nicknames. At this time, your feature request wouldn't be possible, nor is it on the devs' current roadmap for contact management.

Hello @user09408 , Your account's lists have less contacts than your total active contacts. It means that some of the subscribed contacts you have aren't in a list. You can filter for contacts not on any list, and determine how you want to handle them- export and deletion, adding them to the appropriate list(s), etc.

I'll be moving your post accordingly. Regarding your issue, do your changes reflect in the previews and test sends prior to actually sending to your contacts, or does the email revert back to its original design in those as well? Is it one particular template that you regularly copy from that's having these issues, or is it multiple different templates? Is it one specific block, or is it multiple blocks that are reverting upon sendout? Do you always make a new copy from the most recent copy of your email, or are you copying /creating from a more original version (such as a resuable template) each time?

Hello @JohnS0515 , If you continue copying an email that has a different physical address set in the footer, then the copies will have that old address. You need to make the edits, then copy from that more recent email, or (if applicable) update the footer in your reusable template and save that new version so future copies / creations have the correct address.

If you're using an external system to sus out the unviable contacts, then what you did in tandem with the steps I provided will be the best path. If you're just looking to get rid of bounced contacts we recommend for removal, then you can delete (and even unsubscribe) them all from that particular email's report. If you're looking to utilize segmentation within the system to sus out least engaged and other low-value contacts, then you'd follow the steps I provided earlier- but using either the pre-built low engagement segment, or your own custom one using contact activity and other criteria. At this time, contacts can't be deleted via segments, which is why the addition to a list is the extra, necessary component if using segmentation for bulk-deletes.

I'll break it down then: Make a segment with the criteria of "Tags > Is Not > Cleaned110424 Save and run this segment. Once the segment is complete, add it to a list. During the Add to list, create a new list and call it something obvious like "Delete List" Go to the "Delete List" While viewing all the contacts in the Delete List, select-all by selecting the topmost checkmark box. Click the Actions button at the top > Delete This is the most straightforward way, if you chose to clean your contact list outside of the system, and added the appropriate "Cleaned110424" tag to all the viable contacts via upload. There's a myriad of different ways to accomplish what you're looking to do, and very efficiently, this is just the most efficient path for your particular method of cleaning up your contacts outside the system.

Yes, you'd do that by segmenting for contacts without the tag, adding the segment once it's done calculating to a list for deletion, then going into that list to select-all and delete. You also wouldn't lose engagement by deleting then re-uploading. As long as the unique email address is being re-uploaded, all prior data is maintained.

You could also run a segment for all contacts that aren't tagged with that "Cleaned110424," add the segment to a list, then select-all and delete the contacts.

If that's the path you chose to take, then you'd have instead wanted to delete all the contacts in your account, so when you re-upload you just have the contacts you wanted to keep. This is the most straightforward path, if you're expecting to upload a clean list, rather than delete contacts via tagging, segmentation, or manual selection within the UI.

Hello @user619900 , Per the comment you're responding to, you'd follow the path mentioned first: If you re-imported the contacts you want to have deleted, then you'd just add into a list specifically meant for deletion, go into that list, select-all, then delete the contacts.

Hello @SeanR556 , I'm sorry, but I don't see any record of a promise for a phone call from a "top level tech." However, I did find a chat between the phone support agent and a higher level technical agent that confirms this is a known defect. The defect has been tracked to your account, and you'll be notified directly when there's an update from the developers. I don't have an ETA on the update at this time. If the workarounds and troubleshooting info (remake the custom landing page, set the design tab defaults to match the individual formats) previously provided did not alleviate the issue, then there's nothing further to be done from your end.

Hello @FCC , This would currently be possible by linking directly to a map search using the normal linking methods when building emails. Additioanlly, some (not all) email programs and apps automatically convert recognized address setups in plaint-text, and will auto-format these to be clickable links for the device's preferred map program. Some browsers will also recognize when an address is highlighted, and will offer to redirect to a map program / site associated with the browser. With your product idea, is it that you want us to integrate with a specific map platform for a particular action block? Or are you wanting some kind of internal coding for emails to mark a specific set of text as being a clickable address link when sent out?

Hello @EllenS41 , This wouldn't be possible without it being wholly an image- e.g. something designed in a program like Canva and then imported as an image to insert. To be quite honest, even from major retailers I haven't seen this kind of layout without the entire thing being a clickable image anyway. None of the emails I receive between work and my personal addresses have incorporated something like this- it's always something built directly into the website, or as part of an actual document.

There's nothing else within the editor that can be done that would result in a justified-centered combination. To be frank, I haven't even seen this in most text editing programs even from major corporations. Maybe it's possible in certain specially-coded systems that only allow centered text? Beyond that, I'd have no further insight, and at this time it wouldn't be something the devs are considering for future email editor updates. The only potential workaround I see being available for the phone, would be to get a screencap of how you want the text to look, then using that instead of the text. However, with mobile reformatting, this would potentially cause the text to look different anyway, since they'd be pre-set visually as an image, and unable to readjust sizing with the rest of the normal text.

Hello @AmyF718 , The only way to really make this work, and how I've seen it done in other programs, is to simply make the last line its own standalone paragraph, and then center it. There wouldn't really be another way to code or otherwise just set an entire paragraph to be simulatenously justified and centered. Keep in mind however that, depending on the settings and even what device is used to view the email on the receiving side, this may end up causing the paragraph to not be aligned as you set it up to be.

Hello @Marisa_M , This is going to be a default functionality to add another section at the bottom of the email. I'm able to still click in the area of the text that's slightly obscured by it, and insert / highlight text, and I'm able to click outside of the editor to get it to go away so I can see everything clearly. Once I start working in the editor again, that tab will display as expected. If you're finding it somehow preventing you from working within the text block, I'd advise adding a spacer block or something there for the time being, then removing that when you're done with that text block at the very bottom of the email.

Hello @DougS51 , Due to the way the Meta (which own Facebook and Instagram) API works, your Insta page will need to be connected to your FB business page in order for us to connect to your applicable pages. Make sure to also confirm that the Instagram page is truly a business one, not a creator type. You may also wish to reach out to Facebook or Instagram's support if your business page continues not to show on your Facebook business manager, as there may be some other restriction on either one preventing it from being accessible on our side. Hello @KevinF69 , The sign-up form you have linked looks more like one of the old legacy sign-up form pages, not a coded inline form like you designed. If you want the inline form to appear, you need to install its code into your website (assuming your web builder allows outside scripting). If you just want to replace the sign-up landing page with a modern one, I'd advise making one and replacing the URL with the updated one.

No, as in the first step of the automation path, which is typically the time delay setting for whatever will trigger the automation (in this case list addition). If you' made sure the contacts were absolutely not in the list specified for the list-join type, that the list being added to is absolutely the one assigned to the automation, and that the contacts were not added until after the automation series had been activated, then you'll need to call in for further troubleshooting.
