The problem is that the SSL certificate we purchased for our re-direct domain name can't be validated because we can't get this info from CC for the landing page.

I would also like an answer to this question. We purchased a domain name to re-direct to the CC landing page that we built, and for the SSL Certificate, it is asking for the "CSR from Web Host" in order to resolve the SSL Certificate. In this case, constant contact is the "web host" and i have no idea where to get this CSR information.
Here is what is being asked:
SSL Certificates Submit Certificate Validation Information
Provide CSR A Certificate Signing Request (CSR) is a body of text containing encoded information specific to your domain name or organization. You can get your CSR from your Web hosting provider and then paste it into the box below. If you do not know your Web host server software, please contact your hosting provider, or select 'other' from the drop-down list.
We will decode your CSR information and you will be given the opportunity to confirm and/or update your information before submitting for validation.
Please note: The minimum key size for all SSL Certificates is 2048 bits.

Is there a way to add an error message or some kind of notice when someone signs up for our email list, via a CTCT form, if they are already listed as being "blocked" in our CTCT database? Something like "thanks for signing up, but your email server is currently blocking our messages. Please contact your email administrator to unblock our messages, or sign up with a different email address"
Background: We have several of our contacts who don't receive our messages because their office (on THEIR end) has blocked ALL messages from Constant Contact servers. Of course, CTCT does not have the capability to assign us a static IP to send from, then this would not be a problem. But, anyway, this office hates getting SPAM so much from other people who use CTCT, they have decided to block ALL CTCT messages, so ours are inevitably blocked.
We would like to encourage these people to sign up with a different email address (i.e. a personal gmail account, etc.), but they won't if they don't know that their office email is being blocked.

Hi, I came here to suggest this. I see the improvements made as of today, and they are great but why don't we have the capability to sort our campaigns by Send Date?? Only by "Last Modified" or Date Created, which isn't as helpful. Being able to sort campaigns by send date would be very useful for us to be able to get a quick rundown of the things we have recently sent so we can plan our marketing efforts better and not send out the same message too frequently. Please add this! Thank you.

Thanks SalP809 and that's not *really* a solution, though, because the problem is with the CC editor. It needs to function with these features. Yes, we could do much more with HTML if we were to code our whole email but for many of CC's users, the reason we use CC is for the UI and email editor. If I wanted to create every email in raw HTML I could but I don't want to. Now, if CC had an "insert HTML snippet" function so we could build our email in the editor but, much like adding a new text box, add a box with custom HTML instead, then yes that would be a solution. But that doesn't exist right now either.

Thanks for your response but it's definitely not too much to ask for... especially when this is a function that CC used to support but just no longer does. They removed tables from their editor, then re-added them back, but you can't do anything but type into the cells. You cannot even COPY AND PASTE into the cells without great problems (each line gets pasted into its own cell, moving other content around and creating additional cells you don't want), so you literally can only type. Definitely not a "web" functionality issue... only a Constant Contact issue.

Hello,
We are using a Landing Page that I built in CC for a specific marketing purpose, and we have a domain redirecting traffic to this landing page.
I was wondering if there is any way - when someone gets to the page - to have the URL masked to display the domain that we are directing the traffic thru, rather than the URL of the actual page which looks like http://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ etc?
Is this possible to do? And if not, can it be added as a (not-too-distant) future enhancement?

Additionally... If you already inserted a custom color, and did not write down or save your custom color hex code, you cannot even view it in CC to retrieve it!! Example: I used this nice orange color (below), went on with my email, and now I need to use this color again and since there isn't a "recent colors" section any longer, I tried to click on the custom color to view its hex code, but instead it shows me the code for white!!! What the heck?! SOOOOO disappointed in the new editor. CC Why do you have to improve one thing only to break several others?!

YES YES YES!!!!!! A lot of our campaigns are re-posted within our in-house software in the form of a pop-up message which I add via an iFrame and every link opens in the pop-up rather than in a new tab/window which makes it extremely difficult for people to follow the links (i.e. register for an event, pay your bill, etc) because they are in a 650 wide window and I have tried every which way to change it but cannot because the functionality is embedded within the email campaign itself. PLEASE change this so that links open in a new window or tab BY DEFAULT!!! Example of campaign re-posted within our software system via iFrame: Links open in popup rather than in a new tab:

Thank you for finally adding tables back into the editor. However, why can't I add an image/graphic into a cell? We primarily use the Table function for our monthly calendar email and we like to include certain graphics to denote an event and I can not seem to get the graphic to insert. Why? And can you please change this? Thanks

I have been a Constant Contact user for many, many years. It seems that every time one thing is improved, another function suffers. The improvements made recently to the email campaign editor are OK... (I think the biggest improvement was the ability to use a table) however, now the color options are not optimal at all. When creating an email campaign, the color selector used to show you your last few recently used colors - which were not solely used in the campaign you were working on, but were across the entire platform. Weird? Yes. But workable. Typically, I use a distinct color palette for a campaign/series of emails that is different than other emails I create. Even though the recent colors were not always from the same campaign I was working on, it was somewhat easier to find the color I needed. In the new editor, that functionality has been taken away completely and I cannot even select recently used colors. So now, if I want to use a custom color, as I do most of the time, I literally have to type or copy/paste the hex code for every single piece of text and or background block. It's making the process very cumbersome! Additionally, a feature which has been missing for as long as I can remember, is an color picker/eyedropper tool!! If this was available, then the new color selector wouldn't be such a big deal because I could input the custom color once, then use the eyedropper tool to select it thereafter. PLEASE consider making these changes! It is extremely frustrating to see improvements to one feature but downgrades to another. Thanks in advance.

Hi Frankie, I would like to see this anywhere you can change a color in the Campaign email editor. So that would be text, background colors, etc. Anywhere that nice little color chart pops up, there should be an eyedropper option. Thank you!

Hi Caitlin, Forget about what I used to do becuase that was terrible also. It was a workaround I created because the old search was lacking. Hello,
We recently used the newly-redesigned survey feature to send out a brief survey. I like all of the changes however there is one thing missing: the capability to close a survey.
I recall when I setup this survey, it asked me for a date I wanted it to be closed. I picked a date about 30 days away but was not sure if that was too long and figured better to overshoot and end early. Well, we have decided to close it out becasue we have collected enough responses and my only option is to "unpublish" the survey. So I did, beign that there was no other option, and now it says it is "Paused". What does that mean?? Will it be closed out automatically on the date I originally selected? If so, how do I see that date? I can't remember when it was and don't see it anywhere on the survey details page.
Please fix this so we can see the date it is set to close automatically, AND adjust it as necessary! Also, the option to manually close it out early needs to be added.

Hi @Frankie_P, Thanks for the response but no, that does not help me. It's good for other things but not for cleaning up my lists. Yes, I can get it to tell me the names of the people who need to be removed, but from that screen there isn't a way to do a bulk delete AND I can't even click on the names to edit them from that screen!! So I would have to export the list, open in excel, back out of the segments and go to the contacts section, then search for each person manually to remove them. Way too many steps. IF you could make the "segments" lists editable and able to perform bulk deletes from that screen, then yes that would solve my issues. I don't understand why, when CC updates something and adds new features, they remove functionality. Why can't CC just add new features and leave the old ones?! I'm talking about tables, HTML insert capability, tabs/indentation, and now contact advanced finds. Just venting. Thanks.

Contacts needed a re-design, but I am not sure why you have removed the Advanced Search feature?! Isn't keeping your contacts list up-to-date a very important part of managing a mailing list, which will increase your open rate? Why yes, it is! So I don't understand why you would remove the advanced search so that i can no longer look for people who fit a certain criteria so I can remove them when updating our lists. For example, the only way I can remove people who are no longer members of our organization (and therefore should not receive our emails) was to upload a new list of all current members and tag them with today's date, then do an advanced find for people who did not have the tag and remove them. Now, I can no longer do that! So there's essentially no way for me to update my lists to remove emails. PLEASE FIX THIS! 😫Every time something is upgraded, another function breaks or is deprecated. Not good.

I use the Calendar view all of the time to make sure that I'm not scheduling too many emails in one day... however, a BIG feature is missing and that is the TIME!!! It's very cumbersome to have to click on each campaign to open it so that I can see the time that it's scheduled (or was sent). PLEASE add this to the calendar view! ALSO... when scheduling a campaign, it would be SUPER helpful to be able to bring up my calendar to see when I have an opening... currently I have to keep the calendar open in another tab while I'm scheduling my campaign and it's a pain in the neck. Please make this a more user-friendly experience!

The answer is apparently no, they cannot do this. I am still unable to email about 50 of our members becasue they have blocked everything coming from CC because they get too much SPAM from other senders. I believe other providers offer this so it may just be another nail in the CC coffin.

I see it in the pop-up but that's just two more clicks you need to do (one click to open and one more to close) when you are just trying to see the time it was/is scheduled to be sent real quick (usually I am looking at the calendar in a separate tab because I've got another campaign open and am trying to schedule it without bombarding our contacts with emails at the same day/time). A Hover display, or even better - showing the time in the thumbnail - would be preferred to eliminate the cumbersomeness of he current process. Even BETTER than all of this would be to show the calendar with already scheduled campaigns in the view when scheduling the new campaign so you are sure you are not double booking an email at the same time.

Please add the TIME that an email was sent/is scheduled to be sent on the "calendar view". We send out multiple emails in a day and for a short time I was able to hover over the email name on the calendar and it would show the time in the hover text, but it does not do that anymore. It is vital to us to be able to see when we have campaigns scheduled to go out so that we don't send too many messages at once. I would really like for the time to be viewable on the calendar without hovering, but if the hover text is the only place you can put it, that's fine - please just add it back!

Hi @Amber_L, Thank you but that doesn't answer my question. I was asking for a dedicated IP address for only our account. The recipients who are not receiving our emails have blocked ALL emails sent from CC, so I need a dedicated IP address that I can give to them to allow only our emails in their SPAM filter. I am guessing you don't offer this service.

Does Constant Contact offer a dedicated IP address for sending emails? I have a very large organization that has blocked ALL Constant Contact emails and the only way they will unblock it is if I can provide them with a specific IP address only for our own emails. They have had very bad experiences with other CC users SPAMming them, so that was their solution - to block ALL CC emails. Unfortunately, some of their people are legitimate subscribers to our emails, who are now being affected and our emails are being blocked, because their corporate office has made this change.
