Scheduled post not posted - no error message

This week we've had a series of scheduled posts fail to post, without any error message to explain what went wrong.

 

We'll have posts scheduled for 10:30 a.m. 9/22, then come back at 2 p.m. to see that it is still in the queue, with the same scheduled time, but not scheduled, even though it's past the posting time. We're able to then edit the post and then post right away without scheduling, so there's not a connection issue to the social media platforms.

 

Even though we can still make the posts, the fact that we have to go in and hit post instead of it sending automatically is not a helpful work around for right now...any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Hi all. We are aware of a recent issue with scheduled social posts not being sent. We are gathering information to further see what is causing this. The workaround is to unschedule and reschedule the post.

Hello @KimI92809 ,

 

The next time the issue occurs, I'd recommend calling our general support so they can provide live assistance. Make sure to get screencaps of the fact that it has no error, of what time (and zone) its scheduled for, and what time you're finding that it still hasn't posted (including time zone). This way support can check live with the T2 team as the issue's happening, and see if they're able to resolve it or find anything in the logs causing the holdup.

36 minutes on hold, when I was told it would be A LOT less. Still not resolved. Now I have to log on over the weekend to see if scheduled things are posting.

If there was an interruption to the social APIs that occurred between originally scheduling them and when they were supposed to post, it might've resulted in them being stuck in scheduled. Have you tried un-scheduling the posts, then re-scheduling them?

Unfortunately when they are re-scheduled the posts still aren't sent & the error repeats

We are having the same issue this week. Sitting on hold to get a human is definitely taking away from other work.

Same problem here.  I took a week off work last week and had scheduled a number of social posts to go out but I have just discovered that none of them were posted.  I have now manually posted most of them so this is the only one that is still showing as scheduled for 23 SEPTEMBER and which did not post.  Very frustrating!Screenshot 2022-09-28 125731.jpg

We have had the same issue this week, we schedule posts to go out daily at 5am and beginning on 9/22/22 not one of the scheduled posts went out as expected and we had to push the out post once we realized and got into the system.  This has happened 9/22, 23, 24, & 25.

Hey folks... as of now, going in to unschedule and reschedule social media posts is working for me. I just tried it with a post that was scheduled for last Friday. I rescheduled it for today at 9:17, and it was posted successfully. Hope this helps!

I have used Constant Contact for years and have LOVED the social media posting aspect for the past couple of years! It has simplified my life (until now) by posting across all my social media accounts and has worked like a charm. For the past week, this has all changed. It is slow and clunky and most of my scheduled posts do not post as scheduled and I have to open the application and reschedule posts daily now (I missed a dozen posts last week which were date centered around the equinox, national checkers day and other specific dates and could not be rescheduled by the time I realized the posts were not posting). I hope you can get this resolved sooner, rather than later.

Same here. I've been with chat support twice. Was told to reschedule them all. I did. They stopped posting the next day.

I had a post scheduled for Facebook on September 22 and it never posted. It still says "scheduled".

For the third time in 2 weeks a post has been sitting in the scheduled box past the time it was supposed to go out. I had to go in and manually push it out on three different posts. This is a strange problem that just started happening that is making our posts late.
