I have recreated my legacy autoresponder series to the new style "automated email series." Since Constant Contact did not stop the legacy version in accordance with the schedule they set, I stopped adding subscribers to the list so the old series could complete before starting the new one.
I'm now ready to shut down the old series and start the new one. It will be sent using the trigger of the first time a contact joins the list. The way I add people to the list is based on their having clicked a particular link. Some who click it will be new to the list and others will already be on it. I know that previously only the ones that were never on the list before would receive the series but I want some assurance that by changing to a new series, it sill continue to behave the same way. Since the new series is virtually identical other than the "back end" CC is using to send it, I definitely don't want anyone who was already on the list and received the legacy series to also receive this new one. It seems to me they won't, but would just like to be sure. Hope there's an authority on here who can answer this.
