Unsubscribed user

If a customer has clicked on "unsubscribed" , are they automatically removed? We have had complaints come in that they are still getting our emails? And at that point we have to manually subscribe them on our back end.

Hi @MelAls84. Yes, if your contacts are using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, they will be automatically removed from all lists. If they are using a built-in email client unsubscribe option, it may not be successful since they are not using our link. If you have an example of a contact that did click the link in the footer but is still receiving your emails, please email us at communitysupport(at)constantcontact(dot)com

Thank you for this insight. Not sure how the customer "unsubscribed" but we did go ahead and manually do it.
