Duplicate Email Receipts

I was told, and I was under the understanding that if someone was on multiple lists of an email distribution, that that person would only receive the email once?  Please advise?

You are correct -  Constant Contact has safeguards in place to not only prevent duplicate email addresses in your account, but also prevent duplicate emails be sent when a campaign is scheduled to more than one list at a time. Has one of your contacts reported they've received more than one copy of your emails? If so, here's an article we have that provides further troubleshooting steps for this.
