How to delete contacts from one list but keep them on others

Hello.  I created a segment of contacts that have not opened or clicked on one of our email newsletters in the last 60 days. However, I want to keep them on the list of our other newsletters (we have nearly 20).

I can edit the segment to exclude other lists -- but only up to 10.  Customer service rep says I would have to manually go through the contacts and remove them from the desired list.

Talk about time-consuming. Has anyone developed a workaround for this?

Hi @JesusS507 ,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you are trying to remove a segment of contacts from one single list, but leave them on all other lists.

This can certainly be done. To do this, you'd first need to add the segmented contacts to a new list. When doing this, you'd want to make sure to create a new list. You can name this list whatever you'd like - the list will exist solely so we can go into it and remove them from another list.

Once that's been done, you'd want to open up that newly created list with the contacts in it, and remove the contacts from the desired list. That should allow you to remove that segment of contacts from one individual list, and leave them on all of the others.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you need clarification on that process at all.
