New Survey Feature - No Skip Logic Functionality!

I have been a frequent user of the Legacy Survey feature for over ten years.  I tested the new Survey feature today and was appalled to find it to be the dumbed-downed twin of the Email Editor.  There is no Skip Logic function available in the New Survey.  Skip Logic is used to move the survey-taker to another location in the survey based on their response.   As an over-simplified example when building an event feedback survey, Question number one asks if the survey-taker attended a specific event.  If the answer is no, the survey-taker is 'skipped' past all the survey questions and taken to a thank you page.  This is CRITICAL survey functionality!

.

I will also add that other essential functions are missing:
-Cannot attach a comment field to a question
-Diminished reporting capabilities: limited output choices and doesn't export responses in same order as survey
-No opening or closing pages

Skip Logic is unfortunately not currently within our new survey pages tool. We ask that further commenting and voting happen on the open idea for including skip logic in surveys located on our Feedback boards rather than being left here. Our Feedback boards are monitored by our Product teams and any engagement on those posts can help to bring a feature request higher on the priority list.

Thanks for answering the question. Disappointed there's no logic functionality. will have to find another option somewhere else.

Hello @RobertaD9,

Thanks for your feedback! We will definitely submit it over to our engineers for review.

I don't see a skip logic option in the new survey tool. How do I create that in the new survey tool?

Hello @Wolffman10260 ,

At this time skip logic isn't available for the survey pages. If and when there's an update to this kind of functionality for the pages, our engineers will notify you directly.

We definitely won't use this tool any longer without skip logic. Seems like a real miss to even consider deleting this function -- trying to understand why?

It's a wholly different system for the surveys, so it wasn't a matter of being deleted. Our engineers are still reviewing and testing how skip logic will function in the newer system.

thanks for the quick reply. so what is the likelihood that they'll find a way to keep it? I've been using CC for two companies for 10+ years; we'll have to migrate everything we do away from CC if the survey tool doesn't work for us...not efficient for us to use two different platforms for email/survey communications.

Unfortunately we don't have any insight on an ETA from the devs, since the survey pages are relatively new and still being expanded upon alongside other products.

There are a number of ways to include 3rd party-built surveys in your emails, such as via links, and we are also integrated with SurveyMonkey.

I just joined CC, largely b/c there was a built-in survey capability. I am fairly certain that I was told by marketing that your surveys contained skip logic functionality. I know I went into detail on what I saw my workflow being, and it would be nearly impossible without utilizing skip logic. I don't know why I'm going into the details. I think I may need to cancel.

Yikes!! No conditional logic, no skip logic, we might have to move to a new tool.

Extremely disappointed that there is no skip logic in your "new" survey feature. After 10+ years, it is likely time to move to an integrated platform that offers this BASIC survey functionality!! It is inconceivable that you are attempting to market/offer something called "survey" without this basic functionality.

The only reason I am looking at your product is because it has survey capabilities. It is unfortunate that I cannot access these features using your free access capabilities. I definitely will NOT bother forking over $45 knowing that you do not support skip logic.

Hi @TonyH882. As we mentioned in the Top Answer for this post, please leave further comments or votes on the feature request for including skip logic in the survey product. Our Product teams do not actively monitor the Get Help board you are currently under. Interacting with the linked post allows our teams to understand what our customers are looking for, more than this area.
