Overview: Email reporting

If, after sending an email campaign, I add one or more additional contacts to the List and resend, Constant Contact completely wipes out the reporting details so I have no idea what happened with recipients.  Does any know how to access the reporting details for the initial send?  This is ludicrous.

I appreciate your reply, but you did not address my question.  I understand that you can open a Campaign and click on Reporting to see the activity.   But . . .

If a campaign has already been sent, and you add another contact to the distribution list and then re-send the Campaign, ALL OF THE REPORT DETAIL IS LOST AND EVERYTHING INSTANTLY RESETS TO ZERO.  This is what happened to me.  I sent out a campaign.  I then added a new contact to the List and re-sent the campaign (Constant Contact tells you it will only re-send the campaign to recipients who did not already receive the email).  When I then go into reporting, it shows no activity, and I need to see the results of the initial campaign.  Hopefully this gives you a better understanding of the issue and you'll have a solution for me!  Thank you.

Hello @GaryN799,

If you are referring to the scheduled email in your campaigns, all the original reporting will come back once that email has been successfully sent.

No, I am NOT referring to the scheduled email in my campaign.  You're still not understanding my question.  My original campaign was sent - but as soon as I added an additional contact to the distribution, it reset all of the activity and now says "scheduled" and I can no longer see the activity from the original distribution.  Maybe someone else can try and and answer this please!  There MUST be a way for me to see the results of the original mailing.

Hello @GaryN799,

Yes, I do see that email scheduled. Once it actually sends to the customer you added, all the original and added reporting will be back. If you want to give us a call tomorrow to speak with someone on the phone when all other employees are back you can. Thanks!

Quite incredible.  Your answer is, again, 100% wrong.  Sending the campaign to the added contact DOES NOT restore the reporting.  Another tech support person I contacted (since all you were providing was misinformation), got right to the point:  THERE IS A FLAW IN THE CONSTANT CONTACT SOFTWARE AND YOUR DEVELOPERS ARE WORKING ON A SOLUTION.  But experience tells us not to expect anything soon, if at all.
