Why am I being asked to verify my device multiple times? I thought Multi-factor would know my computer and allow me to come in without verifying each time. It is also verifying my location and if I move around with my laptop, does each location have to be verified?
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! It is required to complete every single time you log into the account to keep your security safe. I do apologize for any inconvenience as this can not be changed. Thanks!
I'm not sure that's true. My computer has been verified and I've logged in and out several times without the secondary verification. I can live with this but having to verify every time I log into CC is very problematic.
It is going to be a requirement every time you sign in now to keep your data safe. I will gladly submit your feedback on this! Thanks.
Hello @TTN2014. To clarify what Zoe said, multi-factor authentication is triggered when our system identifies a login coming from a new device or network. If you log in using the same device but use either a new network or VPN (or even an incognito or private window), we will ask to verify your login using the authentication method you created.
