New Blog Post Automation

Hi All!  I am just getting started with CC.  I am looking for a way to email my list when I post a new blog.  I am using WordPress, and I currently have the CC plugin installed.  I have solved most of my issues, but this one eludes me.  As I am just beginning my blog site, I am investing only in what is needed.   Thanks!

Hello @KellyR8992 ,

At this time there isn't any functionality for these kinds of notification emails between Wordpress and our system. You might be able to find a 3rd party integration of some kind to automate this, but otherwise it'd require a more manual setup. For example you could:

  • Setup your blog post and schedule it
  • If possible, get the URL for what that blog post will be when it's live
  • Setup an email in your Constant Contact account, linking the URL in the process
  • Schedule the email to send after the blog goes live

Thank you very much William for your reply.  As I could not locate anything on how to send out a blog post for CC.  That is just too much diddling to perform a simple task.  I installed RSS and am currently using another mailer.
