This happens to me a lot!  Has this been addressed?  What is causing this issue?  It is quite embarrassing!

Hello @CharlotteRotary ,

Typically this occurs due to a glitched out block from an email being too many generations of copied - a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy and so on. If you're noticing one particular block having the issue, where you edit one part of it and suddenly the outer background or other blocks are suddenly changed, then it's advisable to fully delete that block. Then replace it with the same block type, and add the content you need to. If you're pasting test, make sure you paste it unformatted, or paste into a program like Notepad to clear the formatting first, then copy that into the text block.

If you continue to have issues, I'd advise calling our general support, so they can provide live troubleshooting and screensharing to address the issue.

That makes sense because that is exactly what has happened.  Same it can't be fixed.  It makes our lives easier to make a copy.

Generally speaking @CharlotteRotary , we advise setting up a master template that you can copy directly from. Making copies of copies can start to create built-up junk coding in the background that will result in sporadic formatting behavior after several generations, kind of like a biological mutation.

Copying directly from the master template source will mitigate this "mutation," as you're essentially only generating one version of the coding each time. Typically for master templates you'll want to have all the standard info necessary for each email, such as custom footer info, logo, text formatting, and basic email / newsletter structure. Then the copies can just have the default text overwritten each time. You can save this master template in a folder, or otherwise search for it by whatever name you give it, whenever you're needing to make a copy.
