Not validating an email address correctly

I'm trying to add an email to our contact list, but Constant Contact keeps flagging the address as invalid. I copied it directly from an email and confirmed the email address by sending a direct email to this person via my personal email. How do I fix this?

When you copied this email address, did you make sure to check if any extra spaces had also been copied over? If you're still having issues, I'd advise calling our general support so they can confirm security permissions and manually verify the address administratively.
