Update:  This is an issue our devs are tracking at the moment. For future Community users visiting this page, this is the error message being looked into: If you're experiencing this error message when searching for a campaign, please call or chat with our support teams, or email us at communitysupport(at)constantcontact(dot)com, and provide: the exact name(s) of the campaign(s) being searched for the search terms used We do not have an ETA on a fix at this time, nor do we have any further insight, beyond the devs collecting the troubleshooting info requested above. _______________________ Hello @TaylorM7 ,   Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our higher level technical team is going to investigate this further, and will be following up via email with an update regarding their troubleshooting. I've also asked that they ping me when an update is available, so I can update this thread accordingly. They should be following up within the next 1 (one) business day. ... View more

Hello @BarbaraS22 ,   Due to how the email builder functions and needs to be able to pull image file info for sending/publishing, this suggestion won't be possible. The image file needs to either be available in some way you can import the actual file, or it needs to be hosted elsewhere so our system can pull the URL for it.   For guidance on inserting images into campaigns, see this article. Otherwise, please refer to this general article on importing images into account libraries.  ... View more

Hello @Kapeesh.Marketing ,   I'd advise deleting a replacing a poll from a copied email template, rather than maintaining and editing the original poll to ensure no background coding is carried over. It's unlikely the results from the copied poll in the email will be viable for your needs.   Ypu may still be able to pull the correct reporting via the email's Heat Map reporting. We've also seen this issue resolved when removing the older-coded poll block entirely from emails, and instead using the modern feedback block. ... View more

For future visitors: Please call, chat, or email our social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com support channels with your username and the name of the SMS campaign you need more specific details on. If emailing, the request must come from an address verified on the account, or we will not be able to submit it to the higher level technical teams. ___________________ Hello @SteveD34 ,   "Channel Rejected" is a general bounce type we use for a few different technical codes as provided by Sinch. See this article for more info regarding SMS reporting.   It looks like our higher level technical teams are already working on pulling the exact error codes that resulted in your SMS campaign's "Channel Rejected" bounces. Per their email yesterday morning, they'll be following up within the next few business days with those exact codes.   The more general understanding is that "Channel Rejected" is caused by the receiving network throttling or spamming out the message in a way that it doesn't go through. It's the contact's network saying they won't let the message through based on how their system views the text message. For an email comparison, it's like the Blocked bounce.   As far as correcting it, there may be some variance depending on the exact codes. Generally speaking, "Channel Rejected" means that your SMS messages won't be accepted by those contacts' networks, and they should be removed as SMS contacts.   See also: View the results for an SMS campaign ... Hello @AMIBA ,   After further review, there appears to be a sporadic issue with tag exclusions for some accounts, that our devs are looking into. At this time we wouldn't have any further info or an ETA on any updates. The issue has been tracked to your account, so if and when the devs have an update available, they'll notify you directly.   In the meantime, the best workaround is going to be using the segmentation tool, and sending to that segment when wanting to exclude certain tags.  ... Hello @TomP105 ,   Due to size constraints and anti-spam alogrithms, it's simply not going to be viable to use a mass marketing service like us and have a full PDF embedded into the entire email, let alone one with constant animations or "interactive content." Many email programs also do not allow particular functions like this within their programs, and expect them to be hosted on external sites. To comply with the majority of email programs, especially the most used ones, embeddable PDFs aren't going to be possible at this time. This would also extend to the custom code editor.    See also: File types hosted in the library Link to a document in your email ... View more

Hi @DaxK ,   I think the confusion is specifically stemming from Subject AB emails having a slightly different layout for reporting than normal emails. For step-by-step and visual guidance on Subject AB reporting in general, as well as specific guidance on viewing individual subject lines' bounces, see this article.    These are the essential steps: Go into your Subject AB email's reporting by clicking the name of the sent email. Then click View Report. Click the dropdown menu at the top, and select Bounces. Now it should look exactly as the steps in the main Managing Bounces article provides.      ... View more

Hello @BrianJ557 ,   After reviewing this post and the follow-up emails, the main issue seems to be simply getting used to the updated contacts user interface.   Regarding field mapping, this’ll just come down to reviewing the fields getting matched up. It may look different, but it's effectively the same process where you check the fields and confirm they're correctly mapped before moving on. If you have a default or custom field that matches better than the field the system assigns based on the title, you'd need to manually swap or skip the field, or create a new custom field to assign to.   We don't have any further insight on what (if anything) might've changed on the backend for assignment logic.   __________________ As for the second part regarding list names, the updated UI allows users to upload contact lists without necessarily assigning them to an existing list. If an existing list isn't selected, or a new one isn't manually created and selected, then the system will default to generating a list with a naming pattern of Import "[file name]" [date][time] where the applicable contacts for that file will be added.    My personal example: If you don't want these to exist in your account, your options are to either select a list during the import process, or to delete the default-named new list. ... Hello @CelH ,   What you're mentioning isn't really a Product Idea, it sounds like you're just needing guidance on how to manage your contact lists?   Regarding the removal and addition, here's what I advise: Your first option would be to go into each list, and manually remove contacts no longer applicable, and add the contacts that need to be added. If you'd prefer to wholly remove the contacts that aren't due-paying members, then you can delete them instead. If the newer members aren't already in your contacts, then you'll need to import them in some manner, to add them to the applicable member list(s). Your second option would be to remove (or delete) all the contacts in that list, then upload the updated list's membership. Thus, you'd be re-uploading the previously added contacts that are still applicable, while excluding the contacts that are no longer members and including the newest members. This is the most automated process, but you would need to prep the file ahead of time for import.  I can't really speak to the way that your account's owner(s) and other users would have setup the sign-up form that directs contacts into "website." This is something that your account's owner or a manager would need to change for the specific form(s). If you're unsure of which sign-up form is being used to add new contacts to the "website" list, then I'd advise working with your org's members that have worked in the account previously, or were the ones to setup the sign-up forms. ... Hello @LisaG0821 ,   Yes, inline forms are among the available coded forms that can be added to websites. Inline forms also have their own unique codes that need to be included alongside the universal code. Therefore, you can have multiple, separate inline forms on your site. Keep in mind that some website builders don't allow external scripting, so if you're having to use an integration for your pop-up forms, then you'd also need to use that integration for your inline forms (if available).   See these articles for relevant instructions and guidance: Create an inline contact sign-up form to embed on a website Install a contact sign-up form on a website ... Hello @user943184 ,   Thanks for sharing your campaign with us! I'll address the more support-oriented question later on, but let's first go over the campaign itself. For me, these are the highlights: Short, sweet, and too the point - self-explanatory, your email doesn't overstay its welcome and gets the pertinent introductory information across.  Offloading content into the PDF - this helps avoid your emails becoming too long and feel like infodumping.  Linking the conference logo - a simple element, but often overlooked, especially if it's for something external to the org sending out an email. As for what could be improved: Conference logo location - I'd move the Rewired logo to either be between the main paragraph and the bulleted list section, or just after the bulleted list. Header logo - I'd recommend turning off padding for your header image, and stretching it out the full width of the email, if its resolution gets up to the email's width. Link the guide image - While you do already have the guide linked in the button above it, I would also recommend linking to the guide via that first page image, or remove the image entirely.  Thanks again for sharing. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my suggestions.  ________________ As for the bot clicks, if these contacts' networks / security programs are using bots to scan for malware, or they're distribution lists / auto-forwarding to larger groups of people, then the numbers are going to be skewed. To be frank, without a significant change on the contacts' end (via their IT) the reporting info for these contacts simply won't be viable ever. If you're wanting to keep them separate for the sake for your reporting, then I'd advise isolating these contacts to a new list meant for contacts that auto-forward or use bot security checks, and send separate email copies to that list. That way your main emails to your direct, human contacts will have more accurate reporting.    If you'd like the step-by-step process of what I'm describing: Identify the contacts that are causing these bloated open and click statistics. Consider tagging them for quick referral when you identify them, as this can quicken the list creation. Create a new list, call it something obvious like "Suspected Bot / Auto-Forward Contacts," then add the suspected contacts to that list. If you need to be particularly granular with the list memberships, then I'd advise instead making "suspected..." copies of each of your lists, and applying these suspected contacts to the applicable copied lists. Consider making a note in the suspect contacts of what lists they were previously on, or use the tags mentioned earlier, in case you decide later you don't like this setup and want to put the suspect contacts back into the main lists. Once the suspect contacts are on the suspect list(s), remove them from the normal list(s) they're on. From here on, you'll need to send two versions of the emails you'd normally be sending to these lists - one for the seemingly normal contacts, and a copy that you send to the suspect lists. Beyond that, there's not much else you can do from your end. Our devs are constantly trying to identify the various programs that utilize this functionality, so they can set our system to ignore the behavior and triggers from these particular programs. If, after setting up these split lists, the click rates continue to be inflated or worsen, then it may be worth calling in. That way our general support or higher level technical team can see if there's any further info that can be gleamed from the content of the emails with you live on the phone, or to see if the domains of the contacts that are seeming to bot-click them show any other particular consistencies we can track. ... Hi @user852600 ,   Thank you for sharing your campaign with us. Here's some areas I enjoyed about the email: Length - the email's length seems just right for an informative newsletter, without becoming full on newspapers' worth of articles and info-dumping. The email doesn't get cut off when I view it in Gmail, so it's at a good length as it is.  Poll Button - including a button as one of your calls-to-action (Family Camp Interest Poll) helps to highlight its importance, and further nudge your audience into participating.   Some areas I think could be improved upon are: Background / Title Coloration - while I do like the coloring of the email, in dark mode some areas can be hard to read after color conversion, such as the "Owl Adventure Program," which turns into lavender font against the frosty blue background.  Dividers - since you're already denoting different articles by color, I think the thin black lines for the dividers could be removed. This way your email is a bit shorter, and also more uniform in its overall design. Social Icons - at the bottom, your social icons appear to be aligned and centered based on the text block above. Since you already have text links in the above text area, I think the icons can be removed. Otherwise, you can instead remove the text, then move the icons to a separate row, so they're centered across the whole spread, rather than just the text portion of that bottom area. Text Formatting Consistency - there's a couple areas I think could definitely be improved upon in text formatting - link color consistency and the use of underlining to emphasize text. As far as coloration goes, this would be a straightforward improvement. In "Newest Blog Posts: Camp and College" your links have a blue-jeans color that matches the article title, and I think works well with the rest of the email design. However in "Youth Ambassador Leadership Club" the links are the default neon blue color. In "Alpengirl: An Outdoor Adventure that Share Our Values" and "Alumni Spotlight," the links are unbolded and could be easily mistaken for other bits of text used to emphasize. For consistency, I'd recommend using either Bold or Italics to denote bits of text you want to emphasize, and leave underlining to just links.  Picture Alignment Consistency - a smaller, more nitpicky imrpovement would be consistency with your article's images. They don't seem to be consistent between whether they're text-wrapped left or right between sections. I would suggest having them either alternate between each subsequent section, or having them all aligned to one side or the other.   Thanks again for sharing. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my suggestions. Have a good day! ... View more

Hi @user079811 ,   Thank you for sharing your campaign. Taking a look, there's several elements I love about it: It's a very clean layout, and is excellently setup for mobile viewing.  The images made to look like buttons at the bottom look very nice, and help to give your org's communications a more unique style. The title (Parent and Provider News) being a designed image also provides consistent style for your org's communications. It helps to highlight which list / focus group is receiving the email, as I've seen you've done this with other email communications for other lists. The coloration is great, and makes for a less extreme dark mode conversion. Excellent use of Read More-type layouts to get people to engage with the specific articles. This helps reduce the overall content in the email itself, making it easier for editing, and getting your audience to engage with your org's website. There's a couple areas I think could be improved on: I assume the logo above the title is meant to be left-aligned, since that's how other newsletters of this style have been done for your org. I do think it'd be good to have it link to your main website homepage, or to a more specific page on your site, if applicable.  I do like the clean layout of your email, but on desktop it can appear pretty long. Simply widening the email 100-150px could make the email feel a bit less daunting. However, you may need to make slight adjustments to the size of your title image, if you widen your email even further. Trimming up some of the extra spacing between sections and dividers can help reduce the overall length of your email. It does get cut off when I view it in Gmail in both the desktop and mobile versions. It doesn't cut off any of the main content (based on this particular campaign), but it does kneecap your social areas at the bottom. A more nitpicky improvement I'd suggest is making the social bar at the top and bottom have consistent font sizing and formatting.  Thanks again for sharing. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my suggestions. Have a good day! ... View more
