That's an interesting suggestion, so I reached out to our advanced support team. The short answer is no for the current version of the product, though. The tracking links are generated at the moment of sending, but the "View entire message" link is generated by Google upon arrival in the inbox. The support agent seemed to think that the tracking pixel would still trigger even if they don't click to view the entire email, but adding a pixel at the bottom wouldn't change anything. We can only see if the links that were already in the email were clicked and the pixel as it works now doesn't distinguish about where in the email it is placed. I'm not sure if that's something that could be added to the code on the backend, so it's still valuable feedback and I can submit it to our developers for you. I hope I understood what you were suggesting, please let me know if I'm off base. ... View more

Hi @StJohnsClearwater,   I do not think there is a way to do this. If the Wix site is using the permanent URL of the campaign and you're updating it manually every time, there isn't a way to swap the links out automatically every time an email is sent. We do have an archive widget you could embed, but you would still need to manually select the campaign from within your Constant Contact account so that it will show up on your website. ... Hi @TheresaC556,   The archived list is based on the order the emails were selected for archive. So, if you started with your oldest emails and worked towards your newest emails, that's why it displays in that order. At this time, once an email has been archived the order is fixed in the system so even if you unarchived and re-archived them, it would still display the same way. We're tracking feedback on this and I can certainly add your desire for more customization to the tracking. In the meantime, you can either make copies of the emails and resend them to yourself and then archive them in the order that you want or if you have the capabilities, you can copy the permanent URLs for each campaign and manually create an archive on your website. ... #29 – Setting Up Systems for Content Marketing Suc...

‎08-31-2023 09:00 AM
When it comes to content marketing, many business owners make the mistake of creating general content that doesn’t address the specific needs of buyers about to purchase.   Pamela Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer at Dental Claims Support, makes sure the company’s content answers the kinds of questions prospective buyers are asking just before they’re ready to buy.   “There’s nothing wrong with answering those [general] questions, but if you never get beyond that, you end up getting a lot of people who are tire kickers,” she says. “They’re just trying to learn more, but they’re not actually trying to buy.”   How do you go beyond basic? Get into the head of someone becoming aware of your solution. Think about what buyers ask as they go through the process of deciding whether they want to invest in your product or service.    On this episode of the Be a Marketer Podcast, host Dave Charest, Director of Small Business Success at Constant Contact, talks to Pamela about creating more than just basic content. She shares setting her team up for success by scheduling creative time, having standard operating procedures in place, and finding the best generative AI tool for writers.   👉 Pamela’s book “Master Content Marketing” 👉 Pamela’s book “Master Content Strategy”   Meet Today’s Guest: Pamela Wilson   ☕ What she does: Pamela is the Chief Marketing Officer at Dental Claims Support, an end-to-end revenue cycle management company in the dental industry. Hi @CarrollSchreibman,   You cannot add attachments to a Constant Contact email, but if your calendar program does not offer a shareable link, you could upload an .ics file to a file sharing platform of your choice and generate a URL you could use in hyperlinked text that way. Alternatively, if your plan includes RSVP blocks and it works with your agenda, you could put a block in your email that allows them to RSVP from the email, and they will see a Thank You page that will have an "Add to calendar" option in it. ... Hi @NettinghamMiddlePTA,   The in-line form is specifically for, as you mentioned, embedding on a website. It is not associated with a permanent URL. It sounds like you would also want a Sign-Up Landing Page. It would have to be created separately, though. The previous form sounds like it is one of the legacy landing pages. It is separate from the in-line code. When you're on the Sign-Up Forms page, there are three dots next to the blue "Create a sign-up form." There will be an option for legacy landing pages. The old sign-up form is here and can still be edited to add the new lists to it (I double checked and can see they aren't checked yet), though we encourage you to give the new landing pages a try! I hope this helps. ... View more

Raise your hand if networking and building relationships make you uncomfortable.    There are at least a few of you out there. And even if you’re an introvert, you likely know how critical those relationships are to growing your business.    Valerie J. Lewis Coleman, best-selling author and founder of Pen of the Writer, can talk about book publishing all day. Still, when it comes to more formal networking with strangers, she feels intimidated.   “I can do this with you, Dave, all day long because we’re talking about something I’m passionate about,” she says. “But if I’m in a room with somebody I don’t know, after we talk about how cute your outfit is, I’m done.”   But Valerie says that the biggest thing she’s learned over her 15+ years in business is that relationships are critical. She uses a weekly calendar to track what she needs to do to build those relationships. Being intentional about it makes it happen.   On this episode of the Be a Marketer Podcast, host Dave Charest, Director of Small Business Success at Constant Contact, talks to Valerie about ways introverted people can be intentional about networking and marketing, the importance of surrounding yourself with others who share your aspirations, and the beauty of scheduling and segmenting emails.   👉 Check out Valerie’s books: Do it Right the First Time Anthology 👉 Learn how to create and manage tags in Constant Contact   Meet Today’s Guest: Valerie J. Social Ads

by Administrator Nick_S in Set Up For Social
‎08-11-2023 10:32 AM
‎08-11-2023 10:32 AM
To-do in this article:  Create a social lead ad to grow your audience   Social media is a great place to engage with your audience, but also grow your audience.   If you’re trying to collect contacts, check out social lead ads.   You’re probably wondering what’s the point of a social ad if I can already share my emails and events on my social media accounts? The benefit with a social ad is that it will spread your message/promotion to a wider audience, including people who aren’t already engaging with your content (though might potentially be interested).   It has the benefit of either curating a prospective audience based on data with your existing contact list or a custom audience based on desired demographic details such as gender, age, country, specific location, or interests.   You set a budget that works for you (assuming it is at least $1.00 USD a day) and how long you want to run the ad. Facebook will have to review your ad to make sure it meets their content policy.   Once your ad has been running for a little bit, make sure to review the reporting. Whether your ad is running well or you might want to tweak it to see if the engagement improves, you can always edit an active social ad. On the same wavelength, if you’ve surpassed your goals or aren’t happy with the performance of the ad, you can always unpublish the social ad. ... View more
